I went here 3 weeks ago intending to get an eye appointment and they had an opening right then, so I was seen
within 15 minutes of arriving. Originally my daughter had gone here to get her eyes checked for a problem she was
having. I was going to make an appointment with that same doctor, but thankfully I did not. I was really impressed with
the eye doctor I did see, and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a general check-up or for a problem.

I have been having some 'floaters' in both eyes for over a year, and even though my vision has improved over the past
10 years I felt it was time to have my eyes checked to make sure there was nothing seriously wrong. What she explained
to me is that I have very thin retinas and even though there are no tears in them I have some vitreous tears.

Now, I was highly impressed with her chairside manner and her willingness to teach and explain everything about my
eye condition. She took plenty of time answering my questions and even brought up a video showing what happens
during a vitreous tear. Here is a link to a site that explains it simple enough to understand, and there are tons of Youtube
videos that show and explain it as well, so take your pick if you are having problems of this sort. She even brought in
her husband who is a Retinologist when I told her I had difficulty seeing objects in the dark if I looked at them directly.
That I have to see them by looking to one side or the other of the object. She said this was not normal and wanted her
husband to double check to make sure my retinas were ok, and they are.

I want to insert here that she instructed me to call for an emergency appointment should I develop a rapid increase in
floaters,
or if I see flashes of light develop. This could indicate a detached retina and if not treated promptly could cause blindness.

I hope to have photos of the office and staff when I go back for my follow-up appointment in November.
